Eastleigh Town Council has awarded a grant of £1000 to each of the Parent and Teacher Associations of five schools within the Town. These are:

• Norwood Primary School PTA
• Friends of Stoneham Park Academy PTA
• Nightingale Primary School PTA
• Friends of Cherbourg PTA
• The Friends of the Crescent PTA

This will enable each school to work on a project to mark the Coronation of King Charles III and is in keeping with the theme of the Coronation, ‘The Big Help Out’.

The Town Council recognises the valuable voluntary help that many parents/guardians across Eastleigh and the country as a whole provide to schools. Councillors thought this was a perfect opportunity to help provide schools within the Parish with some financial support towards projects which showcase this very special occasion.
