Eastleigh Town Council welcomes the news that the new upgraded CCTV is expected to be switched on at the end of March 2026, and will be installed in key locations chosen by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.

The new system replaces older equipment and is designed to better support public safety, assist local policing, and help deter anti-social behaviour. The upgrade forms part of ongoing work with partner organisations to keep Eastleigh a safe and welcoming place for residents, businesses and visitors.
